Book Trailer Thursday is hosted by Quill Cafe.
I myself finished reading SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater last night. In commemoration of that, here is the book trailer for SHIVER.
What really amazes me with this trailer is that the author made it herself. It's not just a few clips and images with background music playing; everything in it was made specifically for the book. The author made all those paper cut outs herself, composed and performed the music, and strung everything together into the trailer you see before you. Imagine all that time and dedication!
What I managed to get from the video: It's autumn. This is a story about a girl, and a boy who can turn into a wolf. The music adds a dreamy feel to it, which hints at a romance between the girl and boy.
Am I alone in thinking that the first two wolves that appear in the stop motion look a little like bears?
It's brilliant, isn't it? She's so talented! I really love listening to the music. I do agree that the first two wolves look a little like bears but the one that turns into the boy - Sam - looks more like a wolf. It's a very attractive and intriguing trailer, which I think is important.
