*~*~*
A satisfying finale to the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series.
Michelle has really pulled out all the stops here, and GHOST HUNTER surpasses the other five books in pace, action, and tension. As usual, Paver brings you straight to the heart of things, right from the first word, drawing you immediately into Torak's world, where a sense of dread lies over the clans.
I particularly like the references made to the previous five books. I can almost see Paver drawing in all the strands, and weaving them together into the final chapter of Torak's tale.
Answers are finally revealed, although some answers we will never know. As always, Paver's solid research shows in the quality of writing. I for one, am very satisfied with the ending she has constructed for our favourite characters.
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness would suit any lover of nature, or someone who likes adventure. If you're someone who dreams of living it out in the wild, battling the elements and magic of Soul Eaters, this series is for you.
